SOCIAL DISTANCING AND THE LGBT MPA NETWORK

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19): as concerns intensify, we thought it would be helpful to share with our members the power of using our virtual network. Whether you are working from home or reducing exposure by limiting travel, here are a few tips for continuing your business outreach through your LGBT MPA membership.

  1. Be sure you have logged in to the LGBT MPA network portal.
  2. Update your profile with as much contact information as possible.
  3. Make sure all fields are un-checked so they fully appear in the directory.
  4. Complete your biography
  5. Upload a recent picture of yourself that you like!
  6. Post in the forum topics of interest and visit the forum often. It’s a great place to start an exchange.

When searching alphabetically or by name, city or zip code, always check alphabetic button last to activate the listing itself. When the member name appears in red you may click on it to see the complete profile. Email links are live so you can click and communicate right away.

Be sure to use LGBT MPA in your subject line to increase your open rate. I like to use, “it's Jim from LGBT MPA” as my subject. Introduce yourself as an LGBT business member, professional member, buyer or supplier before following with your message. This is a great way to establish that we are all part of a strong supportive community and creates a connection much deeper than hello! Share your challenges, questions and insights in an effort to support your industry friends and colleagues as we navigate this uncertain time. Lets all support each other as we get through this outbreak.

If you have any questions or need tips, contact Dave Jefferys at [email protected] or 215-280-0586.
